We’re halfway into October and Halloween has taken hold all over the upstate. If you’re still looking for somewhere to wear your costume, we might just have a few ideas for you.
1. Wompus Woods Haunted Trail and Mad World Zombie Shoot
Perfect for the brave these two attractions are the ultimate in upstate South Carolina action and horror. Notorious for it’s tagline “where the woods come alive” Wompus Woods Haunted Trail is a terrifying walk right through a host of ghouls goblins and monsters. Meanwhile the Mad World Zombie Shoot gives patrons a chance to fight back against the monsters, as you’re armed with a paintball gun and led out into a field of brain hungry zombies! Perfect for thrill seekers and group excursions alike, these are two of the spookiest events this season in the upstate.
2. Brew and View: Thomas Creek Presents Rocky Horror Picture Show!
For those more interested in good beer and a fun movie, Thomas Creek brewery will be presenting the Rocky Horror Picture Show on October 23rd on their outdoor patio. The brewery has teamed up with local Greenville film buffs The Film House, who has put together a shadow cast of actors and guest prop bags to participate in the show. Meanwhile the Good to Go Mobile Kitchen and The Mechanical Owl food trucks will be on site a menu designed around Rocky Horror itself!
3. The Warehouse Theatre Presents: Evil Dead the Musical!
For mature audiences only, local Greenville theatre The Warehouse is in the midst of it’s October run of Evil Dead the Musical. Taking after the 1987 cult classic Evil Dead film, the musical is a bloody and politically incorrect song filled romp through a horror film. The musical runs all the way through Halloween.
Don’t forget that South East Transportation can provide a fun and exciting ride to and from all Halloween events, and truly make your fright night one to remember! For information about booking make sure to visit us on the web.
